Pāṇ. 2-3, 56 ) RV. etc.

Caus. peṣayati ( aor. apīpiṣat Gr. ), to crush, bruise , grind etc. GṛS. MBh. Car. ( Gr. also ' to give ; to be strong ; to dwell '). [ Cf Zd. piṣ ; Gk. πτίσσω [?] ; Lat. pinsere, [ 628 , 3 ] pīsere. ]
