subdued, tamed, humbled

being under control, obedient to another's will, dutiful, docile, tame, humble, at the disposal of ( gen. or comp. ), MBh. Kāv. etc.

m. a dependent, slave, MW.

N. of a son of Āgnīdhra, MārkP.
